For more than 80 years, the Chester First Aid Squad has proudly provided free, volunteer-based emergency medical services to Chester Township, Chester Borough and surrounding communities.
Founded in 1945, CFAS is built on neighbors helping neighbors—delivering skilled, compassionate care when it matters most. Our volunteers respond with one goal: to be there when our community needs us.
Community Engagement
CFAS is proud to be part of the fabric of the Chester community. Beyond emergency response, our volunteers participate in local events such as the Chester Fire Company Carnival, Lions Club Oktoberfest, holiday celebrations, and parades. We also host car seat safety inspections, blood drives, and educational visits for local scout and youth groups.
